1. What SnapCode Is

SnapCode is a software product consisting of a Windows desktop application and a free Android companion app. Together, they allow you to automatically receive SMS-based one-time passwords (OTPs) from your Android phone and copy them to your Windows clipboard over your local network (LAN).

System Requirements: SnapCode requires Windows 10 or later (64-bit) for the desktop application and Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later for the companion app. Both devices must be connected to the same local network.

Important: OTP codes are transmitted directly between your phone and your computer over your local network. They are never sent to, stored on, or processed by our servers.

2. License Grant

When you purchase SnapCode, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the Windows desktop application. Each license allows activation on up to 3 Windows computers that you own or control.

The Android companion app is free and does not require a separate license. It is designed to work exclusively with a licensed copy of the Windows app.

Your license includes all updates within the 1.x version series at no additional cost.

3. Activation & Deactivation

To use SnapCode, you must activate it using the license key sent to your email after purchase. Each activation is tied to a specific computer.

If you need to move your license to a new computer, you can deactivate it from your current machine within the app settings. This frees up an activation slot for use on another device.

4. Payment & Pricing

SnapCode is sold as a one-time purchase for $4.90 USD. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with SnapCode for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your purchase and we will issue a full refund.

6. Permitted Use

You may use SnapCode for personal or commercial purposes on computers you own or control. You may not:

• Share, resell, or distribute your license key to others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
• Use the software for any unlawful purpose

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

SnapCode is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to ensure the software works reliably, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

We are not responsible for any damages arising from the use or inability to use SnapCode, including but not limited to lost data, missed OTP codes, or security incidents on your devices.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your license. Continued use of SnapCode after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
